Morning

Morning is definitely my favorite time in Maseru.  Walking out of the gym this morning, Danielle and I saw the beautiful landscape of Maseru as our driver brought us back to our house.  The sun rising over the mountains gives the hills a warm glow, and out of the crisp, thin air arises a haze of smoke from early morning cooking fires.  The whole area smells like a cookfire, which will dissipate when the sun fully comes up.  If it’s still early, the land is quiet, with only bird calls punctuating the silence.  Soon, the taxis will be out, soliciting customers by honking down the street, but for now, Danielle and I enjoy the quiet ride along the mountains of Maseru back to our house to begin our day.
