On Sunday, we went to a church here in Lesotho. The people were so friendly and it was a great experience! Amit and I taught at Koalabata on Monday. We helped the kids to review for their upcoming exams by reviewing fractions. We also met with the teachers and students at SOS Village. At Baylor, our project this week was to design a program for the doctors to use to keep up with patients on plumpy-nut, a nutrition treatment for severely malnurished children. We finally succeeded at creating the database and today, we finished imputting all the data. Previously, all the records were hand-written on little sheets of paper. Now the doctors have a computer based form to fill out each time they see a patient. Everyday, I have another experience that evokes a love for the people here. I wish I could help more children to live healthy lives; it makes me so sad to see a sick child without parents. There is so much work to be done here!
